At the forefront of the MLJ Agency staff is president and founder Marylou Johnston who after spending nearly two decades in the public relations business formed her own company MLJ Agency in early 2010.

Marylou directs the firms publicity, marketing and events planning activities on behalf of her clients within her Paris , London and Los Angeles offices.She mostly recently served as the global managing director for Los Angeles based Priority Public Relations. For over 17 years she headed up the PR firm's European operations and was responsible for managing international clients such as Rainbow media and their channels including WeTV, Sundance Channel and IFC, Asia Broadcast & Communications Networks,Scandinavia Broadcasting System (SBS) ,Saban International, Sesame Workshop, E! Entertainment Televsion and DIC Entertainment. Born and raised in Washington DC she graduated from University of Maryland.

MELISSA CHAMBERLAIN

​Melissa heads up the company's Los Angeles office and brings more than 13 years of public relations experience to MLJ agency. Before joining the company in 2010 Melissa was a senior level publicist for Priority Public Relations. During her six years with the company, she manages accounts for clients including the Banff World Television Festival, National Geographic Television, MGM Worldwide Television and Alterna TV a leading Mexico-based channel distributor. Previously, Melissa worked for mOcean Productions and the Disneyland resort in California where she organized press events within the theme park and for a number of Walt Disney films and television shows including the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, "Finding Nemo" and "Lost".
Bianca a seasonned PR and communication professional fluent in English, French and German heads up MLJ Agency's London office. Prior to joining the agency in 2010, she worked at the Rose d'Or Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland. Bianca has also worked at both MIPTV and MIPCOM in a number of capacities and for a variety of clients over the years. While studying for her master's degree at Edinburgh University, she ran the United stan at MIPTV in 2005, 2006, 2007 and was responsible for managing the diaries of the UN delegates and liaising with the media on their behalf. In 2008 she worked for the Lippin Group office on several of the agency's high profile accounts.
